    • RE: Holy Innocents' Primary

Was at the p1 orientation on Wednesday. Kinda boring but really enjoyed the performance put up by the p2 students, especially the part when one of the kids said the wrong 台词 and all the kids giggled on stage. Parents were so encouraging by clapping loudly to encourage the kids to continue with the performance 🙂

Btw, do u think it is necessary to get ergonomic school bag for the kids? Don't know if HIPS workload heavy or not, will the teacher keep some of the books in school?

hi my gal is in 1S5, brown house. Kind of disappointed with the arrangement too, it was kind of last minute. Only received the letter few days in advance.

Me too received on wed, which so call a week before which to me is pretty last min too, alot of working mum, not easy to get leave at short notice.

I got my letter on Monday-Tuesday, but had already took leave way before. I was informed of the 18 oct registration when we were successful at the 2C balloting, so quickly kiasu went to apply leave Liao lol.

As for queueing for the books instead of online ordering, agree the bookshop should innovate and improve since there are so many working mums and we may not have time to queue the whole afternoon away buying books and name tags.

I am curious to know too. It is definitely not based on the registration phrase, cos one parent from the same phrase as mine, her son is not in the same class as mine…

That said, I am very impressed with how orderly and systematic the whole registration process was conducted this afternoon. And all parents were so friendly too!

Hi, may I know what kind of CCA is HIPS strong at and famous for? I saw a number of trophies displayed at the Admin office for all kinds of Math competition. Was wondering if HIPS is also strong in Math, beside other sports/arts?

    • RE: miss singapore and her lovely costume

I find miss Singapore exudes a modern vibe which I like! And the costume is really outstanding and a good fusion of all the different races in Singapore, a very good effort indeed, I won’t be able to design a nicer one than this. But hor… The headgear reminds me of Singapore flyer (the two round round things).

That's funny. 🙂 Cedar and Crescent's uniforms are both shirt with pleated skirt right? Except Cedar's has a tie?

Yeah, and prefects at Crescent wear tie... 😄

Lol I went to Cedar n my sister went to Crescent!
Cedar skirt is more A-line, while Crescent skirt is pleated n more flare. I remember my sister worked really hard to be chosen as a prefect in sec 3 cos she wanted to wear a tie, just like me :).... We once thought of exchanging tie for a one day, but no guts to act it out cos both our schools had super fierce discipline mistresses :yikes:
