RE: [Clementi] Primary Schools
ruiruimum, I sympathise with your situation but the twins and triplets only got 2 slips per set of twins / triplets similar to any other single child. They didn't get 4 or 6 slips. They just happened to be lucky in the ballot. By combining their names in the same slip, they have reduced the number of ballot slips in the box, but just that if picked they take up additional places. So this is not unfair to the single child.
Is it really? But I did see 3 places was taken for one number in the screen shown to us. -

Though the chance is low,I still want to try coz no try no chance at all.Even I felt sad when failed but no regret for it.I know it is painful for parents who are now trying for Qifa, but please help me understand this.
1. Given the poor odds of getting into Nanhua, and the fact that we have highlighted in our balloting history of the poor odds of getting into Nanhua in Phase 2C, why did you not choose to go to Qifa in Phase 2C?
2. Would you have changed your mind about Nanhua if you KNEW that the total number of people going for NHPS was 84 for 28 places? If an extra day is given to you to reconsider your decision, would you have withdrawn your application to NHPS in Phase 2C, even when you know that other parents are also likely to do so, which will subsequently improve the odds for the remaining parents who insist on staying in the ballot? -

I 'm not sure if you attended balloting before. For today's balloting,i knew that triple siblings share same number, that means they have 6 chances using one number while our citizen's child only have 2 chances using one number,is it fair? That's why those twins ans triples success today.ruiruimum:
Balloting failed:(:( Got 2 twins and 1 triple sibings and they successful got 7 places, felt it's unfair to single child.Sooo dispointed
Hi ruiruimum, i dun think it is right to say that it is unfair to single child. The twins and the triplets all shared the same ballot slips so everyone has an equal chance. Just my humble opinion. -

School just called regarding the balloting at NHPS this coming Friday. When asked about the % of PRs among the applicants, the administrator mentioned that she is not able to reveal this info....
I think most of them are citizens. -
