your chance is higher, if try Leadership domain under OP schools, than IP schools, because your child's profile is common.
Therefore, should cast your fishing net wider into OP schools, instead of merely restricting narrowing down to IP schools

Thank you for your response. Since it is our first time , we yet to get hang of things. We will definitely look into options suggested by you also.

The reason we were thinking in terms of leadership is because of the child's profile.Past two years have been prefect,(prior to that Jr Prefect) and now in P6 as I mentioned earlier is heading a Department. The reason being chosen what I understand is because of public speaking ability. Child is part of school Debate team and have got few certificates in that domain. Along with consistent record of character and excellent performance.

If your child is a strong debater, you can consider some other options. Is yours son or daughter? If son, can consider dsa under Humanities. HCI offers this domain. If girl, can consider English domain.[/quote] Thank you for your valuable input.

      Hi,

My child, has been prefect from p4 and have been selected as department head for one of the department(prefectorial departments) in school. The school has given ample opportunities to facilitate public speaking skills. We would like to explore applying for DSA(2020) under leadership. But since the child is not a prefect or vice prefect ,will still stand a chance?

Academic wise results were btwn A and A+ across the subjects. Minly looking at schools which offer IP.
