Hi bluemoon

Teacher also email us parents for important reminders too.
At least you still get email from the teacher. I have not received any updates or reminder from teacher tru email and it takes days before she can reply my email. Haiz...

When remind her to ask the class to write down the date on the maths text on topic or pages being taught so that parents can revise with the kids, she told me she may forget.I told her to try her best.

Request her to instruct the girls to write down the answer on the questions during lesson so that the kids can revise independently, yet she said the load is too much for the kids. OMG! I guess I will have to do the questions on the text with my girl myself.

It's so different from my son's school. The dates are being written on topic being covered and all the questions are being done in class and the teachers will email parents periodically to keep us informed on topics being taught.

really don't know what to do.....
Hi P1 parents

Did you all receive a Chinese tingxie list (hanyu pinyin)? Any idea when is the tingxie? My girl in P1kindness. I also realized the teacher did not collect the 2 Chinese exercise book from her. Did your girls leave the Chinese ex books in sch?

      Many thanks

      Hi Superbusymum,
My girl has the tingxie list but she didn't put a date on it so I don't know when the tingxie is. The teacher seemed to have only collected 1 exercise book. I'm a bit unhappy because her bag is so heavy. She has the Maths and Chinese text book in her bag all the time!

Didn't know what to pack for art today also. Hopefully teacher don't scold her!

      Hi

My girl is in 1 Patience. She was given the tingxie list yesterday and written dates on them. First list - dated 14 Jan 14, second list - 4 Feb 14, cannot remember the subsequent date. Teachers have collected all her books except for Maths textbook, Chinese textbook, CCE textbook, social studies book and handbook (which they have to bring everyday).

      Parents - 1 Patience - correct?

Sometimes I am not sure if my girl has absent mindedly left the book in school or the teacher has collected. How to verify?
Hi! Mrs Ng,

Yes, my girl is in 1 P too. Received the tingxie list yesterday I think YMCA will coach the girls for the tingxie.

All the books have been collected except Maths/Chinese/CCE textbook, social studies, Health Ed, Stellar Handwritting book and 1 chinese exercise book.

My girl teacher didn't ask them to hand up the activity books and exercise books that she brought today. End up tomorrow's bag is heavier, loaded with Chinese activity books and the exercise books. Hopefully the teacher will collect tomorrow.

Yes, you are right. Not even a single book is being collected. My girl's bag is 5 kg today. I called up the school and complaint. Told them that if the school needs parent's support in educating our children, they also should work well with us.

The checklist for words to know the child's ability to read and write is also not handed up. My DD tried to pass up yesterday, but was told to keep it away. I asked the school what's the purpose in giving us the checklist then.

All the books are ready. I’ve just bought them yesterday. But I’m not sure whether the bookshop is opened today or not.
