    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Math

Can someone help with these questions? Explanations appreciated. TIA

      1. A shopkeeper sold 4 times as many water bottles as bags. The total amount he collected was $4056. He collected $936 more from the sale of the water bottles than from the sale of the bags. A water bottle cost $18 less than a bag. Find the cost of a bag.

      2. A van left Town A and travelled towards Town B at a speed of 60km/h. Half an hour later, a car left Town A and travelled towards Town B. The car reached town B 45 minutes earlier than the van. When the car reached Town B, the van has completed 4/5 of the journey. Find the speed of the car.

Hello! Need help with the following question. Would appreciate if there's a model. Thanks 🙂

Mei Mei had some 50-cent coins and Sandy had some 20-cent coins. Mei Mei had 6 fewer coins than Sandy. However, Sandy had $2.70 less than Mei Mei.
      (a) How much money did Mei Mei have?
      (b) How many 20-cent coins did Sandy have?

    • RE: Q&A - P5 Math

A packet of balloons is to be shared among a group of children. If each child gets 3 balloons, there will be 15 balloons left. If each child gets 4 balloons, there will be 20 balloons short.

      (a) How many children are there altogether?
      (b) How many balloons are there in the packet?

      Please help, TIA.
