I have exactly the same thought on the CCA nowadays. It is not the kids’ ambition, but the schools. In this sense, I am more on the NUSH side than the others (no bias).

So long as the kid feels happy, we parents feel more happy.

It took me two days to finish all the 50 pages! Eyes with stars shining.

It’s really helpful reading all the posts and replies.

Seems there is no BEST school, but only SUITABLE school for our kids.

He is sure that he can get 260. But I am not so convinced by his optimism. If he accepts NUSH, can he appeal to HCI to transfer please?


I also heard from the president that the COP for NUSH is 260, the same as HCI. So if he fails one, he fails both...

My son has been given an offer by NUS High. But his favorite school is HCI. He will be asked to reply in the week of Oct 25. If yes, will he lose the choice of S1 posting when the PSLE result is out? Any good idea please? If no, we are afraid that he is not doing well enough to go to HCI... :? :? :?
