Hi Hi, I am new too. My Boy is in Phase 2A2 so we will receive the letter by this week. Wow.. 20/Sep orientation is early.. are we suppose to purchase uniform that day ? Isn't it too early as the kids are still growing...

Hihi, my kids are already in Ai Tong. The reason for the 20 Sep Orientation is cos ATS will be moving to the holding school in AMK next year. The early Orientation is to brief new parents on the move.

      Hi parents,

My girl is currently in P1 at Ai Tong, hope to get in touch with ATS parents.

      Hi Mommyof2kids,

For my case, yes. We did PV at ATS to qualify for Phase 2B but ballot unsuccessful. My girl finally got in via waiting list.

Hi, my 2nd girl is also in P1, Mrs Erat's 1B class. my eldest is in P3. 🙂

Hi all, thought to share the updates I got on the move… but nothing is firmed yet… tried to ask school but they refused to confirm, just claim they don’t know…

The info I got is ATS will move to a holding school in AMK area for P3-6 (am session) and the P1 & 2 (pm session) would stay in the Sin Ming campus while they upgrade… Probably move in 2012… we shall wait for school to confirm this next year…

Hi all, I am an ex-ATS girl, my eldest girl is in P2 this year, my 2nd girl is going to P1 in 2011 and my youngest in 2013! 😄

So far, my eldest is enjoying ATS, she hardly has any hw, there is no CA/SA, just minor tests but she'll get her first SA in T4/10. The teachers are all very nice and her P2 form teacher even got them to write on their Student Handbook \"School Holiday Homework : Have fun!\"

We had the intention to move near to ATS later this year cos we are staying in Seng Kang now & the bus journey is a killer! But then we heard rumours that ATS may be moving, asked the principal but he just said he also don't know! I guess we'll just rent a place nearby so more convenient for the kids, then wait and see what is the development before we sell & buy a new place...

    • RE: Teacher's Day - What do you do to show your appreciation?

I encourage my daughters to make the cards on their own instead of buying the cards. This project usually get my daughters very excited and they always look forward to it. Over the years, I’ve accumulated quite some art & craft materials which we can use for other occasion as well.

Besides the cards, I will also make some handmade jewellery like earrings, handphone accessories, bracelets, keychain etc for the teachers. This is my way to say "Thank you" to them…

My cousin's school only starts at 8am and I was shocked when my aunt told me my cousin's teacher even go to the extend of having morning revision classes between 7.15am - 7.35am every day for those students who are weak in Maths!!! No doubt this is their PSLE year, but who is making who kancheong???

The teacher's intention is good but... morning remedial class at 7.15am???!!!

Just curious, is this neighbourhood school or those well-known schools?

It's a neighbourhood school in NE area... used to have 1 top student in S'pore... 😉
