My son was assigned to MSHS in 2010 but I pulled him out to TKSS. He is now on LOA, studying in Copenhagen and will rejoin in the 2013 academic year

Hi… I’m looking for transport from Balestier area (behind Shaw Plaza) to TKSS from next week to end of term (ie June) - just one way in the morning to school

If anyone know of any private school bus operating that route, appreciate contact number/s

my colleague's son also in choir. DS is anyway very happy to be in the band so think now what i can do is to support him & to remind him if he starts to neglect his studies.

There are 7 classess + 1 class of DSA students. He's right coz 1998 birth rate is low.
DS is lucky to have friends fr same pri sch in same class this year.

At times, I find chinese is a little dumb - controlled by these 12 animals in giving birth. I suppose this year of the rabbit will have a higher birth rate, most wanting a 'labbit' girl, ie soft, sweet and demure (just like the animal) [boy, they ain't seen the rabbit the rear for MEAT yet] .... and tiger girl is no good = angry woman = cannot be 'married off', but tiger guy is ok..... and worst - dragon..... where there will be MORE classes every 12 year cycle - and this batch will compete with each other when they graduate... haiz....

Yup, i attended the one last year where you get to meet the teachers for dinner. The food was good!
I was from TKGS and although I was not a band member, i remembered hearing the band practising almost continuously and on almost every occasion the school celebrated the band could be heard.
Remember CCA grade can be used in the O level, so if DS likes band, he should go for it.

Will be attending this year's TK1

Hi ttlkbs, welcome to TKSS.
My DS is in Red Cross.
Band is good if your DS is committed to it as it requires lots of training.
It will probably earn him a good grade if he is committed.
Sailing is good if he is the sea type of person.
I personally would not like my DS to participate in any sea activities.
I am not a sea person.
DS initially wanted to join NCC (sea) but i managed to talk him out of it.

My son was an active band member in P6.... but now seems a little put off by all the training hours required - just imagine - the whole Saturday, but they say it's only till April. Have not chosen anything yet - still going through the choices. Gosh, CCAs should be fun, but overheard many parents' more interested in the extra 2 points for JC.... not taking their wards' INTEREST at all
