Hi, any parents here who have children studying at the marine parade branch / transferred from fu lu shou main centre to marine parade branch?


May I know how is the class conducted (for compre and compo)?
For P2 to P4. But welcome comments on other levels also.

Does the teacher explain the technique of tackling the question?
Are the students given time during the class to write out their own answers/compo?
Or there are only verbal discussions and the students asked to copy model answers?

I’m thinking of transferring my DD from jelic to mpm (different branch).
May I know does she need to take any test to assess at which level of mpm does she go to? The mpm teacher we spoke to claim no test is needed…
She’s 5yo & has been attending jelic for about 1+years.

I’m considering these schools for my girl (2007) :

- AiTong (<1km, not-so-direct route)
- AMK (<1km, direct route-can walk there)
- Mayflower (1-2km, can get in under P2A(2))

Can anyone advise which is better? Anyone with direct experiences with these schools can give any comments?

Is studying in AT very stressful?
