I’m a Sec 4 student. I’ve been faring quite badly in Pure Physics and Pure Chemistry, scoring C6s for both subjects last year in EOY. Now, its almost Prelim 1 and i’m contemplating dropping to Science (Physics/Chemistry). Will I stand a better chance of achieving an A1 at O levels compared to Pure Science students? Furthermore, I’ve got no intention of going to the Science stream in JC, and only interested in the Arts stream.

School ends at 10.20 am tomorrow for the Sec 1s. A name tag will be given later on, the badge should have been bought already

I dont think there will be a need to bring much on the first day, it will be mostly admin stuff and talks.

I’m not sure how the school will allocate the classes to the students. On the first day, the Sec 1s will report to their allocated class in the morning. Soon, the form teacher will come in and introduce themselves. The teachers will settle the admin stuff and others after morning assembly. Parents need not come along.


I heard for last year’s batch the classes were SMSed to the parents. For my batch, we knew our Sec 1 classes during the registration.

Oh yeah, i was told by the uniform vendor that all Marist have to wear their PE singlet with their uniform everyday. Is that true?

Yes it is compulsory to wear the school singlet, or any white singlet for that matter with the school uniform everyday.

There is no school transport.
