    • RE: Lower Secondary Mathematics

      swordtail:
The SPF is invited by the organiser of the NDP to form a marching contingent for the NDP march pass. The organiser states that there should not be any empty spaces within the contingent as much as possible. However, it has not been decided if the participants of the contingent are to march in 4s, 5s or 6s. If 200 police officers are available for training, calculate

      (a) the maximum possible size of the marching contingent if participants were to be trained to march in 4s,5s or 6s,

      (b) the number of participants who will be put on reserve.
      anybody can help?

For English picture listening compre, there is this question that has three pictures (Q3 ) and is phrased ,\" Which of the following shows what each of the pupils should bring along for the science trial?\"

The first picture shows a ribbon, a pencil and an eraser , while the second shows a pencil, eraser and worksheet. My DD chose (2) but her friends said that it is (1) as worksheets would be supplied at the station(s) . However,my DD told me she chose (2) as the passage stated clearly that they were supposed to put on the green ribbon on the left sleeve of their T-shirt.

What is the answer? Can anyone get back to me? Thanks 😄
      Hi,

my DD put her ans as (1) for the above. How about other parents?

(b)\tHow long would he take to reach his home if he drives at an average speed of 100 km/h? (Give your answers in seconds)

    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Math

sorry typo. 1st sentence should be Company P. I retype again below:- tks.

Company P has 250 female workers and 4/5 as many male workers .Company Q has 600 female workers and ¼ as many male workers. After some workers are transferred from Company P to Company Q, ¼ of the workers in Company P and 75% of the workers in Company Q are female workers. How many more workers are there in Q than P after the transfer?
