It really depends on the school culture or teacher in-charge. Some schools are very enthusiastic and will call or email the parents once they have the results. Whereas other schools (like my child's) doesn't say anything, and the teacher in-charge will simply print out the name list and put it up on the relevant subject notice board in school without even informing the students. Unless of course there's a second round like NMOS, then we will receive PG notification from the achool about it. 😅
      Thank you 🙂

Result is out! Best is to check with teacher’s in-charge. I asked the teacher and the same day, the teacher informed my boy. The certificate will only come in in Sep
My child asked the teacher yesterday. she told the class the school has not received the results. Could it be in batches?

Am also curious but i think since they don't publish results anymore, n if no award ceremony, unlikely to be able to find out?
my kid school either haven't announced the results or no one in the entire school wins anything. How difficult is it to get at least a bronze?

No news from my child's school too.

Since the SPSO results are already released by some schools, hopefully the other schools will release the results on Monday.
how do the schools usually release the results? As in inform the students in class or via Parents' Gateway? I received nothing so far.

any idea roughly how good a kid needs to be to get Gold, Silver or bronze? like if a kid can answer 70% of questions, any chance to get a bronze (of course, i mean depending on how well the others are doing)

I could understand where you are coming from. unfortunately, your incident and this are not the same. in your case, its an accident that you tried hard to salvage and others are not affected. In this case, the boy has stubbornly refused the request from the teacher to leave his seat and clean himself up. The classmates are badly affected by a pool of poo that stink the entire classroom and urged him to go to the office to change himself, which he ignored.

If he were really to see this in the future, we hope he will be a better parent. To educate his kids that physical hurting that result in his classmate suffers from months of bleeding is not a right thing to do. And it is even more wrong for his parents to get another adult to threaten his victim. Imagine how fearful and helpless (and physically injured) victim barely 8 years old was when he is cornered by adult sent by the boy’s parent, how other kids unknowing the actual situation perception of the victim. These are all reported to the school but no action is taken. Nevertheless, this is not the intention of the post here.
