IMO, it's better to wait out. Better to rescue a dog from the pound, than to rub the face of a cute doggy puppy now, that may grow into a demanding animal hungry for attention later. It's more meaningful that way.

Agree. Hope by then not an avalanche of abandoned pets, o’wise the rescuers can’t keep them all & SPCA will eventually put them down. That’ll be sad days. Now, want to adopt also don’t have. Only Singapore Specials (less so these days) or old old & sick dogs[/quote]https://mothership.sg/2021/05/spca-singapore-does-not-put-down-animals/

Hi. I can't find PX2131 in store. Now the latest model is PX2181, but I'm not sure if this model is allow to bring to exam and the functionality is it good? THanks.
Hi, PX2181 is one of the approved models. You may refer to this link for the list of approved e-dictionaries. I am not sure of the functionality though.

      Hi Esteema,

Do they have a website with class schedule and fees or do I have to call them for details?

Hi, can anyone share experiences for Anderson Primary? It is my husband's alma mater. We would like our son to get in but it's abt 20min drive away frm our place. (My younger girls are in Grassroot's club preschool. So we'll definitely go that area everyday. Its just the matter of getting there earlier which means all the kids must wake up early together with their brother)

Just want to know more about the school 1st n decide if its worth the trip. How satisfied are you as parents whose children are in the school? Thanks in advance!
      Hi,
My eldest child has just graduated from Anderson Pri and my 4th child will be joining Anderson next year.

Overall I am satisfied with the school because my kids have met some very good and passionate teachers. Some may be strict but they genuinely care for my kids. My 3rd child is dyslexic, his P1 and P2 form teachers as well as his P1 LSP teacher are very encouraging and supportive. I am glad he has met those teachers who helped by being patient with him and update me regularly with his progress. Of course I have also encountered some teachers who are not so responsive but those are minority.

Firstly, they will be put in groups of 4 or 5. There will be a group project where some materials are give. They are required to use those materials to come out with a solution for the given problem. A teacher will be assigned to each group.

It is important that your child participate and not be a bystander. The outcome of the project is not so important, but how the group works together and how your child actively involves in the project is more important. I remember that my child told me there was a boy who is very passive and the teacher needed to prompt him to take part. This is not a good sign as SST has a lot of hands on learning.

After the project, each child will be interviewed individually by the teacher. Just advise your child to be himself/herself and enjoy the camp.

      Hope this helps.
      :thankyou:
Thanks for the tip for the selection camp!

Normally how many kids per group? Per cohort how many kids from p3 join? There isn't a limit?

I am not sure if there is a limit. If your kid is keen, when he/she is in P3, sign up as soon as the CCA is open for registration.
You can call the teacher in charge if you have any question.
