gvyong:u need to understand the local geography first....the sch is at a boundary of Bt Batok n the other schools (Princess Eliz, Dazhong, Lianhua, Bt View, Keming, St Anth) have more than enough places, so naturally parents avoid Hong Kah Pri which over the years suffers fr a vicious cycle.Hong Kah - 150 places, only 23 filled after 2C. In P2CS, 127 places avail, ZERO filled.
Worst pri sch in the nation? The principal should be sacked.

RE: [Bukit Batok] Primary Schools
mamona:
Lianhua and Dazhong are probably better than Hong Kah...(LH probably has the best PSLE results among these 3, and DZ with its renovated facilities has attracted more ppl to enroll)Thanks for correcting me. So in Bukit Batok only 3 school left places in phase 3. They are
Lianhua
Daizhong
Hong Kah
Can someone suggest which one is better ? -
Gradually, everyone will know, like to share as below:
1) southview primary - one student - 285
2) st Anthony - 5 students - 285
is the info you supply here - reliable ?
is your child from South View primary or from St Anthony ?
I agree with phtthp,if info not reliable pls do not anyhow post.my son tuition friend from st Anthony said that their school only had. 2 285 unlike what you said as 5
even two 285-highscore students fr st anthony, i also find it hard to believe. Wouldn't tat mean there r FOUR top scores (1 NYPS, 1 NH, 2 SA) this yr? Anyone knows if tat's unprecedented?
