in csj speech...i notice that he dont look at script but staying eye contact with audience
this is really another guy pap should look at instead of focusing on WP
They are definitely looking at him. If not, PM won't mention VB as a good minister in his NDR. πŸ˜‰

I think PAP is focusing too much on the wrong threat. CSJ is the one to watch !

After his TV performance and his rally yesterday speaking in Hokkien, Teocheow, Malay, Chinese and English, the internet forums are abuzz with highly positive reviews.

Some compare him to LKY and others said he can be the next PM of Singapore !

JS, you better read more Ah Beng forums to get the vibes from the ground !

      What an insult to LKY!

It might just be IB at work. As it is Ah Beng forum, no cause for alarm.
If it is KSP forum, then I πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“

This seems to be the star speech in summary during last night's rally

I like Swee Say. Always down to earth, hands-on and practical. He seems to be the only one not wanting to engage in mudslinging over the tired old AHPTEC spat and just focus on showing what he and his team has accomplished. Kudos to him!

I still remember something he told us when he was the Chairman of National Computer Board eons ago in the 1990s... something to the effect that if we only have ideas but no execution, that is nothing more than mental masturbation πŸ˜‰ Love the guy.

Agreed with you. Talking and implementation are two very different thing.
Talking is easy, execution is hard.

Having said that, rally attendance =/= votes!

      Lots of kpos.

      hahaha...
Read this from a FB post:

The WP draws the crowd the PAP wishes it had
The PAP draws the votes the WP wishes it had.

For me, I only look at national issues.

I always do, when deciding who to vote.
I'm choosing leaders, not estate manager.
Maintaining estate is just part and parcel of their job duties.

National issues are of greater importance to me. My personal opinion.

Not because oppositions said so hor

Me too. It's sad that the parties need to compete on municipal issues. I am more worried about the the issues the electorate focus on as opposed to the parties themselves, for it is the electorate that drives the directions the parties take.

      Me three!! πŸ˜„

SA and De Souza has done significant ground work in her area not sure about VB ... they walks the ground quite a fair bit in comparison to the past PAP candidate. So .. I'll think BTH will be a battle for national issues.

      TY δ»€δΉˆιƒ½ζœ‰. after 16 years, DLT is coming...dec 27.

Still can ask for Sport Complex, Swimming Complex, etc πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

SDP HBT team this year is stronger than the 2011 team. What I heard was the 60% in 2011 was significantly pulled up by the HDB dwellers in Liang Eng Hwa's constituency.
