• RE: Scoliosis Treatment with Kevin Lau

      Lillys_sg8:
Would like to update my daughters condition after Dr Kevin... the xray showed 11 degrees improvement which is not a lot. But last few years it had been increasing every year. Guess some patients do well and others stop the curve worsening which is still good. Hope this helps x

Hi, can you share what is the treatment with Dr Kevin Lau and the duration of treatment ? My girl's scoliosis has increases from mild to moderate 28 degree in recent review, I'm thinking whether to look for Dr Kevin or to go for physiotherapy. I read from this forum that Dr Kevin's package is expensive ranging around 4K-5K.

Does anyone has a good physiotherapy to recommend?

      Thanks.

    • RE: Scoliosis - Backbone check for Secondary pupils

Hi, did anyone try physiotherapy for Scoliosis? Any good one to recommend? My daughterโ€™s curve has increased from mild to moderate at 28 degree and we are waiting for the appointment at NUH. Meantime, would like to find what other option to maintain the curve from getting worse.

Rejection letters out first :yikes: ? Quite different arrangement from past years.. :nailbite:
A friend received the rejection letter via normal mail on Tuesday but her DD did not attend the half-day program or interview so I believe RGS has already started to inform the outcome by batches. Not sure whether today is the D-day but just keep checking your email and letterbox today. :boogie:

Anyone receive CO email or letter from RGS? Please share. Thanks.

Hi Tri-mum, do you have some news that they'll send out CO this week ? seems a bit early compared to last year's release date ...

Hi Petlover, during the half-day program briefing they have mentioned will try their very best to release the outcome this week (before the long NDP weekend). I knew some have received the rejection letter but I've not heard anyone receive the CO email / letter yet.... ๐Ÿ™

Hi Tri-mum, Thanks. Yes my girl attended the halfday program on 25/7. I only received the email around 5.40pm. So they might still be sending out. Just keep checking today or call them up.

Thanks Nandus, all the best to your DD ๐Ÿ˜„

Does anyone know for those who attended the RGS half day program on 25 July will still have to go for final round of interview? If no call from school this week means lightly not selected since they've mentioned during the briefing that they will try their best to finalize the result before National Day . ๐Ÿ˜“

if you like stories about naughty little kids, try Dorothy Edwards \"My Naughty Little Sister\".

Thanks for your recommendation. I finally found this book at MPH and bought it for my DD (P1) and I would say it is written in simple english and easy to understand....at least she read with understanding unlike other princess book like tiara club which she has to keep asking me what it mean :slapshead:
\"Nicholas\" by Rene Goscinny (same guy who did Asterix & Obelix) is fantastic read. About a little boy and his life in school and at home. Very funny cos the perspective is from that of a little boy who doesn't always know what he's doing wrong. And the stories are in chapters (ie one chapter one story) so it makes for easy light reading. I liked it so much that I went ahead to buy the whole set from

MPH is out of stock for this book and is selling at $45....it's so expensive for a children book. Beside online purchase, any idea where can I find this?
