      Checking in.

Totally out of loop for a whole year without realizing it.
Must have switched off after the hectic PSLE year. Hee hee.

We are leaving even earlier - mid Oct during the PSLE marking week.

I have two friends who are leaving the day after PSLE ends…

We are planning 2 weeks in Europe, hence going in Oct when it is warmer.

Haven't been there since DD1 started primary school when travelling is restricted to June and Nov/Dec only.

DD1 started \"Circles\" yesterday and was confused by pie. Must say it's a shock that a simple topic can have so many complicated questions. 😓

This publication costs only 40cents at all buzz stations. Can just go get one for your child to ascertain his/her interest. My child enjoys reading the articles every week.

You can subscribe to it and have it delivered to your house but it costs 82cents per issue.

I am so looking forward to end of PSLE. Also planning a trip in mid Oct, taking advantage of the marking week and also it will be colder in Nov in Europe. Was about to book airtickets and then the MH370 incident happened. No mood after that...

bebebub - do you need to write in to school for DC to skip school in Oct? I was told to write to Principal :siao:

DD1 watched Divergent with her dad on opening day. Am glad hubby took leave to spend time with her. She finished the trilogy some time back, I cannot bring myself to read the books or the clockwise series or the hunger games series…

My DD1 has not been given any homework since CA1 ended last Friday. The homework load has been very manageable the entire term. Goes to bed every night by 9.30pm. Am still wondering how the school produces such good results year after year. 🤷

      Bebe,

Can you talk to the tuition teacher? May help to convey your concerns first and hopefully she is receptive to your suggestions as you are the one paying her salary. I loath to change tutor now, so close to PSLE…
