RE: DSA 2024
Hi,
Thus where the school has given the invitation to the candidate to apply for a particular CCA, the chances of success will be higher, right?
However for those who never receive any invitation, will your school screen through the results (especially IP schools) before shortlisting the candidates? -

Personally, I would select the school that you like more based on programs, culture, academic fit, etc and put less weight on IB vs. IP/A-Level.Hi,
My DS has received confirmation offers from a IB school and IP (JC). Not sure which one to decide. Any advice. Thanks π
While the IB and A-Levels have some differences, my view is that they are not that different. Both paths prepare kids for the future, and I think most students will adapt to whatever track they are in. Obviously there is more familiarity with the A-Levels here, but I would not shy away from a school I liked more due to it running the IB program.
Caveat to the above is that I have not had a kid go through each stream to directly compare so take it for what it's worth...

&, if you were to toggle amongst the ksp threads, our forummers have shared valuable insight. Which π« is your child's preference? After you've browsed through the available information, you could further contact the respective schools' teachers for clarifications. (I'd be happy to share experiences [via pm] too, if you've more specific queries.) All the best!!! π₯³[/quote]
