Hello there!
My girl is born in 2016. I plan to apply as a parent volunteer in st Hilda's primary school. Unfortunately, it is not within 1 or 2 km from my house. Can anyone advise if it is worth to try out ? I prefer my girl to attend a missionary school. 😶 Plus does anyone have tips to gain the role as PV in this school. Thanks

My suggestion is don’t bother. You are wasting time as SHPS will ballot at Phase 2B.

On a good year for you, you will probably get to ballot for a few limited place (and if you fail, Phase 2C is out for you).
On a bad year for you, SHPS will ballot < 2km which mean you don’t stand a chance.

If your priority is a missionary school, I’m quite sure there’s one that’s nearer to you.

I just checked onemap.sg. I stay 2.2 km from st Hilda primary and 750 m from gong Shang. Can I apply for those staying 2 km from shps? Pls advise . I don't mind doing parent volunteer too. Thanks
