      pls help, tks

For every 3 stamps Jiahui gave to Ryan, he would always give 1 back to her. At first , Ryan had 10 stamps more than Jiahui. Find the difference between the number of stamps they had in the end after JiaHui had given 12 stamps to Ryan.

If she gives 12 stamps, Ryan would have returned 4 stamps. In the end Ryan had 8 stamps extra.
JiaHui will have 8 less stamps than before,
Since Ryan already had 10 more stamp before, and now has an additional 8 stamp, the total difference is 10+8+8 = 26 stamp.

Tks, My DD did it šŸ™‚

Sorry to say, but there is no surprises here.

I don't think DSA is about how top notch one is academically; but rather, how well the school deem the applicant to be a fit to the school in all aspects. I have heard of Gepper who scored >93% and yet wasn't given any CO from RGS.

Well, the student I described and who had been shortlisted has no other talents apart from her 2A and 2Bs. The other student I heard has EAGLES and other awards. Strange selection process. Well rounded, all rounded? ... Think it's very subjective.

Could it be the girl with 2A 2B has done exceptionally well for the GAT? I think the schools have thousands of applicants, and they probably cannot sieve through every individua'ls achievements to decide. There may be a 1st round of sieving that may be based on GAT results, and those that din't do as well in GAT (compared with rest of applicants) may not make the cut then. This applies everywhere, even for uni entry or job application whereby intake is large.[/quote]Maybe they also have GAT COP , 25/30 or 27/30 , who knows šŸ˜† then, choose all-rounded pupils among GAT high achiever .

Any idea how many girls will be shortlisted for NYGH DSA each year ? Thanks

      In 2104:

near to 1000 applied for NYGH through DSA
      500 Shortlisted
200 offered COs (inclusive of academic and sports)

Heard that late batch interviewer has better chance ? Is that true . ęœ€å„½ēš„ē•™åˆ°ęœ€åŽ šŸ˜“
