jtoh:no interview for mainstream.wmd:My friend DS who is from mainstream and applied under maths domain, but rejected by RI also. I know the boy is a very capable kid who is one of the top students in a SAP school in west area. He got high distinction 2011 UNSW science. won distinction in RI Math, Platinum in SMOPS, Gold (one of top 30th) in NMOS, Gold ACS Math Olympics. Distinction for ABRSM piano Grade 8,school prefect, completed 2-year MOE TTLT program……. Unable to figure out WHY being rejected.
Those are impressive achievements. I'm surprised he was rejected. Maybe he didn't perform that well at the interview.

Otah:
Some were drilled hard for the results. There are always top top mainstreamers not selected for GEP at P3. These are usually the disciplined and hard workers. There were those who always get scolded by tr for not paying attention in class but clear the GEP selection.[/quote]2 SAP w GEP, 1 SAP W/O GEPngbrdad:

RE: O-Level Additional Math
mramk:
cos(x).cot(x) + sin(x)
prove the identity: cos(x).cot(x) + sin(x) = cosec(x). (O level A-Math)
Thank alot.
=cos(x)*(cos(x)/sin(x))+sin(x)
=(cos(x))^2/sin(x) + sin(x)
=((cos(x))^2+(sin(x))^2)/sin(x)
=1/sin(x)
=cosec(x) -
RE: Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) [*IP]
I think no need to discuss about this topic anymore, PSLE is over, regardless top class or not top class, they are in the same starting line.
mjl, any idea about AMC10/AMC12 result in singapore? my daughter attended AMC10B last month, she scored 96, not bad, among all Grade 7 participates, her result is acceptable, do you know the AMC10/AMC12 result in RI/HC/NUSH? -

There is no way to edit other person’s post, once someone clicked ‘quote’ button and replied the post, original poster could not do anything. he/she is only able to edit her/his own post.
As I have just noticed this matter, I am sure that no such thing happen again, for those quoted posts (already posted), only the posters could edit and remove these messages. -
RE: Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) [*IP]
As applecore used quote (HTML tag) in her/his post, hence, only she or he can edit the post herself/himself.
I have edited my post. -
