If your child is so fortunate to be invited to participate in Einstein Club, that is a sign that he or she has the potential and interest that the school is looking for. The Einstein Club activities give the child and early taste of what the curriculum in the school is like.
Hi,
Will invitation to Einstein Club be of use for DSA? -

No there isnt any concept of affiliation.
However, the NUS admissions criteria clearly has a different application scheme for NUS High DIploma students. And they are considered once they obtain their Diplomas (in Nov each year) much earlier than A level students, who get their results much later. (2) Further, a fair number of NUSH students would already have done University modules as part of their NUSHigh curriculum and would have already earned credits/waivers into NUS. (3) NUS High is part of NUS, and one of the advantages is that the students get to have access to all libraries within NUS. -

Glad to note that many of the kids enjoyed DSA preview day on 13 Aug. Its a taste of the curriculum in the school.
1- the school takes in maximum of 180 a cohort, so only 7 classes (each abt 25)
2- Whatsapp groups. At this stage, its only COs etc, it would be advisable to be wary of those in the groups who just come in to watch and listen (there are many many such). So its good to exercise caution over personal information etc. Traditionally, many like to jump in to watch and see as the school is unique, theres no other in Singapore.
3- Some may have COs but may eventually opt for another school. If you hold a CO, you are "1 in 10 or 1 in 15", so you are very fortunate the school wants your child.
4- School runs on a modular system, so the school hours, timetables and dismissal times are very much like in Junior College/University. -

The school has always had the DSA Selection test for *all applicants*. (only in 2020 and 2021 - there was no test due to COVID).
Seeking tips & information about NUSH entrance test in Math & Science subjects (in the past only for selected students, this year for all applicants).
What are the best way to prepare? What kind of problems are typical? What are the key topics? Are there topics beyond primary school curriculum?
From what I gathered so far, it seems like the Math will be Math Olympiad-like, thus their NMOS book is a good resource, but what else? And on Science, it seems like ICAS is a good reference too, anything else?
From the selection test, there will then be a Selection Camp for abt 400 plus or so.
All the best ! -
