Thanks for the prompt reply… one more pls

There are 2400 red blue and green marbles in Box A and Box B.
In Box A, there were 25% as many red marbles as the total blue and green marbles. There were twice as many marbles in Box A as Box B. 60% of the marbles in Box B were blue and green. After transferring some marbles from one box to the another, 25% of the marbles in Box Aand 75% of the marbles in Box B were red. How many marbles were there in Box A after the change?

i have a better idea now!

      AZmama:
      Hi,

My son took the papers when he applied for SST 2 years ago. He is now Sec 2. GAT and CRT are 2 separate papers, both are MCQ. GAT is the general paper that is used for most DSA so if you take 1 paper and they will send the results to all the schools that you applied for DSA. The GAT paper is more like general paper testing logic. The CRT is more like language paper but logic based also. My son found the CRT paper tough but he made it. If i recall correctly, you get points deduction if you get a question wrong. CRT is only required by DSA for just a few schools.

      Hi fellow parents,
Like to find out more abt the GAT and CRT?
      1. Are GAT and CRT separate papers or one combined paper?
      2. What is the format of the two papers? Are they fill-in the blanks or mcq questions?
      3. Where to find the sample papers online? Thanks!

      Hi Dragon Flame,

      Here's a hint for you.

This is a catching up speed question. Find the distance you need to catch up eventually you will find the time taken to catch up.

      The answer is 900 m.

Do let us know if you have any doubts.

So sorry, I didn't get it. Can explain a little more? Thanks!

Bella spent $612 on some bowls and plates. The amt spent on the plates was $36 more than the amt of money spent on the bowls. She bought 3/5 as many plates as bowls. Each bowl cost $2.10 less than each plate. What is the cost of each bowl? 5marks

      Total amount spent on bowls = (612-36) / 2 = $288
      Total amount spent of plates = 288+36 = $324

      Plates : Bowl
      3 : 5

      1u of plates would cost =324/3 = $108
      1u of bowls would cost = 288/5 = $57.6

      Total difference = 108-57.6 = $50.4
      Single unit difference = $2.10
      Therefore u = 50.4/2.1 = 24

      1u bowl = $57.6
      24 bowls=$57.6
      1 bowl = 57.6/24 = $2.40

      :thankyou:
