Hi parents and students,
doing a little shout-out on behalf of my friend who is an experienced Social Studies teacher who had helped my nephew to do well in his O levels Social Studies. He is a dedicated tutor and is conducting a crash course between 25 Sep - 3rd Oct. For further details, you can email him at aceyoursocialstudies@gmail.com or you can check his centre's fb page at https://www.facebook.com/allthingssocialstudies.
All the best to everyone's quest to do well in Social Studies!

RE: Preparing For O-Levels
It is not uncommon for students to drop their grades in sec3 as there is a big jump from sec2-3. But with good guidance, students in sec 3 can catch up and excel in their O levels.
I engaged one ex MOE teacher who specialises in teaching Mathematics and Social Studies for O levels students. He had been teaching in a well-known school for a few years and had produced remarkable results. Most importantly, he is patient and teaches according to his students' pace. Heard that he is conducting June holiday workshop next month for Social studies.
This is his hp no 90104931, I dun think he will mind me putting his hp no here, since it's free advertisement. Or u can reach him at boon_h@hotmail.com. Hope your child will do well in the O-levels! -
RE: ECON IN JC
Based on what i know, the economics concepts are not hard to grasp, but the main reason why students dun score is due to a lack of 'structure' in their answers. My younger brother, studying in SAJC didn't do well at first. After struggling for half a year, we engage a personal tutor for him and he really improved tremendously, scoring A and Bs consistently.
The tutor charges pretty reasonably too. you can contact him@ boon_h@hotmail.com. Dun expect instant miracles though.
