eg. May has $2 and Jane has $3.
Question : What fraction of Jane's money is May's?
Answer : 2/3
Question : What is the fraction of Jane's $ to May's?
Answer : 3/2
so just need to remember after the word is is what you want.

The distance between the first and the fifth tree was 40m.

a) Find the distance between the first and the tenth tree? (Ans:90m)
b) Find the distance between the fifth and the 50th tree? (Ans: 450m)

need help for b) why ans is 450m?

(a) 10-1 = 9 gaps in between Hence 9x 10 = 90m

(b) 10-5 = 5 gaps in between. Hence 5x10 = 50m
for every 10th-20th, 20th-30th, 30th-40th, 40th-50th trees, they are 10gaps each so 10x10m apart for each, so is 100m x 4 = 400m

Hence you get 400+50 = 450m.

Thanks. Sorry for question (2) I still don’t understand, why is it that when 10 red beads are added, blue beads are 3 units however, when 30 blue beads are added, blue beads become six units?
