      sunny bunny:
      1 pound=$3.03

amy bought jewellery priced at $10 000.
the shop charged 1.85% commission because she paid in pounds.
      what was the total cost?

      First, convert $10,000 to pound.

      10000 div 3.03 = 3300.33 pound

      jewellery + commission = 1.0185 x 3300.33 = 3361.38 pound

      Ans: 3361.38 pound

    • Soup Cup Broken

Anyone has any good idea how to fix a broken handle of a soup cup ?

I was thinking of super glue, but I am not sure if the glue will be strong enough for the handle ?

Or is there a way I can 'grind' off the broken handle from the cup and make it a handle-less cup altogether ?

      Thanks for your advice !

Can't we live life simple ?

Life is never simple. Otherwise it will be very boring and monotonous.

You mean life will be not boring and not monotonous with many rules ?

      stove under the beam

Stove under the beam...cannot because the rats will be crawling along the beam over the stove and pang-sai into the pot. That is why that said one bit of rat s**t spoil the whole pot of porridge.

anyway, does anyone knows why solid beam (hidden) cannot be under stove? :?

I try. Because the stove god hidding under the stove would accidently hit his head on the beam. If the stove god is upset, the family will be punished. Right ?

      ks2me:
I eat sandwiches lunch and most of the time I need a quick bite so I will eat in our inhouse cafe or tabao from there.

      Actually I got another idea.

I want to set up a service to deliver sandwiches to office. I will prepare the 'liao' (fillings) in larger containers, then deliver to offiice you can make your own. The servings is for more than 1 pax.

Know what I mean ? I don't want to pack one by one, very waste paper and plastic. I prepare lots of salmon, tuna, lots of veg, lots of salad, in reusable food container, keep warm, keep cold....then send to your office.

Lunch time, you and your colleagues sit in pantry and make sandwitch and eat there. Then I collect back the containers.

      Anyone interested or not ?
