I recently travelled to China (Hangzhou/ Suzhou & Shanghai). As it was a family trip with an elder, i did not choose to take train to transfer in between the cities, instead we traveled by private hirer, which saved time and more direct, especially for our 1st time family trip. (less than $200-7 seaters) You may consider staying at Oakwood Hotel & Residence, suitable for family. Nice spots include Wuzhen, Nanxu Old Town, Wuxi & great shopping at Nanjing Road.

Hello parents! We are a group of undergraduate students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) currently working on our final year project. As part of our project, we are conducting a survey to better understand consumers’ purchasing behaviour, brand perceptions, product preferences, and digital engagement habits related to travel products. We would greatly appreciate your kind assistance in participating in our survey. Your insights as parents and consumers will be extremely valuable to our study, and all responses will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for academic research purposes. As a token of appreciation, 30 respondents will be randomly selected to receive a $10 The Travel Store Singapore voucher, and the survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. Thank you very much for your time and support. We truly appreciate the KiasuParents community’s help in supporting our learning and research Link to Survey: https://forms.office.com/r/0xVXPpB0E6

I think South Korea could be a great option for your anniversary trip! I've been there before and found it to be very safe. You can check https://www.travelsafe-abroad.com/south-korea/ for more details on safety in Korea - they rate the overall risk as low. Plus with https://gowithguide.com/korea you can book a local guide to show you around, which can help ease any worries. Seoul especially has so much to see and do. I'm sure wherever you end up going, you'll have a wonderful time celebrating your anniversary! Just try not to overthink it too much. Have fun planning!

Go ahead and do it if lodging and meals are covered! A little trip can still be a pleasant change of pace, even if there isn’t much to do for kids. Your child might like discovering a new place or the hotel pool.

Yeah. Although the transfers can be a bit of a journey, they are well worth it once you get there. Exploring with family is made really simple by the beautiful coastline and the fact that everything is within walking distance.
