      Hi there,

      I'm shortlisting schools for my child who'll be registering for P1 this year, and I'm interested to know more about the school, also I've a few other queries such as;

      1.if the child has cca after school, is there any school bus svcs to send them home?

      2. anyone taking school bus from Sengkang? What is the estimated pick up time in the morning?

      Look forward to hear from you. πŸ˜„

        Hi Zannymom,

        I'm also scouting pri schools for my ds1 who will attend pri 1 in year 2014. DH is old boys so i'm also considering this school on my list? I'm also staying around SK..possible to share any particular reason you are considering this school instead of other schools in SK?

                  Yes, had a couple of problems with the bus driver previously. Once or twice left without kid and didn't even call. Another time, did not appear - but coz driver was in hospital & new driver lost his way. These couple of incidents happened within a two year period; so I think it's quite acceptable. Have since started fetching my son to school this year. It does appear that there is only 1 bus driver pickup/return to punggol.

                      :thankyou: for your time[/quote]Hi,
                      Yes, my son enjoys golf. It's once a week.
                      The school changed the golf operator this year. It's at mandai golf now. Am not sure who they used last year. Training for P1 and P2 is on mondays.

                      The kids have lunch, and then assemble at a classroom where they are guided by the teacher in charge to the chartered bus which will bring them to/fro. Golf lessons are from 1.45pm for 2 hours. After that, the bus brings them back to school and the parents can pick them from there.

                      For 20 lessons, we pay $500. These 20 lessons stretches till end of school terms as they stop CCA on holidays and exam periods. This does not cover green fees. They only bring the kids to the green if they are at level 2.

                      Currently, my kid is at level 2, but I think they will only start bringing them to the greens in July onwards so am not sure about green costs. But kids are expected to have their own full set of golf clubs to go to the green. If you want your kid to take up golf as a serious sport, then you should send him for further training. The kids are divided into 2 groups currently; level 1 & level 2 players depending on their skill and maturity level. Each group has between 8-10 kids. Level 1 group has 2 coaches as there are more kids there; while level 2 has 1 coach.
