      thank u. Basically my plan is like that but dun noe ok bo.

      16 June => Night flight
      17 June => Reach GC, Rest and explore the hotel area a bit
      18 June => Dreamworld
      19 June => Seaworld
      20 June => Paradise country + shopping (but where is nearer huh?, Habour Town?)
      21 June => Super early flight to Sin :scared:

      also would like to check if GC is a stroller friendly place coz think need to bring the stroller for my gal to nap.
      I read somewhere that Dreamworld for suitable for teenagers, more scary rides. And if you go to Dreamworld no need to go paradise country cos they got sheep shearing show, koala bear and kangeroo in dreamworld too. more or less the same. Since you very tight perhaps you want to skip paradise country farm if you go to dreamworld.

      FYI there is buy 3 get 1 free at AUD99 per pax (meaning 4 pax pay only 3 pax price) at myfun.com.au. You get to go SeaWorld, Movie World and Wet n Wild unlimited for certain period.

      If you stay at surfer paradise there is a night market every wed and fri.

      I will be going on 8 June and will be taking public transport which is cheaper than those themepark coaches. Just buy Go Card like our transitlink card.

        I still tot Dreamworld is more kiddy since I link it up with Shrek etc..Movie world is the scary ones with more thrilling rides..Ok, then no Paradise Country, will go Movie world. At least all 3 worlds covered. :rahrah:
        I'll be staying near surfer paradise. After u come back, can share how to take their bus? My friend told me theme park close at 5pm and their bus also ends at 5pm.. So must leave earlier than 5pm else if cannot take the last bus, dun need to go back liao :nailbite:
        Update me more when u are back.

          ah yes Harbourtown. We go there on 2 separate days. lol. heard they got more factory outlets now compared to when I went there.

          I prefer movieworld than dreamworld. Dreamworld is all about rides. Movieworld have more warner bros stuff for your 4yo. paradise country is near the other theme parks.

          think 17 Jun you can also go harbourtown if you can finish the hotel area early.

          which hotel you staying? I stayed near hard rock cafe. walk over a few streets can get a bus to all the theme parks and harbourtown. convenient.

          I am staying near sufer paradise too but not too near.Abt 15mins walk. Ferny Ave (I think it is spelt like this)..Btw, Hard Rock ex? Also, how is the security at night? Safe to walk with the kids at night to Surfer's Paradise?

            with regard to your previous post, Yes almost everything closes at 5pm.
            so go at opening time and lve at 4pm. HRC price is normal i think. Cant really rem the price i paid. sorry.

            http://video.xin.msn.com/browse/catch-up-tv/the-noose-6 -> episode 6.
            check out the noose abt afew of the attractions at gold coast.
            I did the jetboating as shown. NICE! but seriously dizzy for one who cant take dizzy bus rides or taxi rides. but think not suitable when you have kids.

            The hotel I stayed was at hanlan street. Actually the hotel is beside HRC. it was prev known as Courtyard Marriott. Now is hotel chancellor.

            You can try the Qdeck for viewing the entire Surfers paradise.

            And the bus stop where i took to go theme parks and harbourtown is at ferny ave.

            EDIT: oh, qdeck changed name to Skypoint which was also featured in noose episode 6.

            EDIT2: episode 8 had dreamworld featured.

              Hi,

              I will be travelling to GC in June and am thinking of renting a car as I have a party of 5. Just like to check do I need to convert the Singapore licence to international license to rent the car?

              Thanks.

                Better to bring international license. Anyway it is easy to get.

                  I went to Sydney last November. I did not convert my Singapore driving licence to international, but they accepted after seeing the licence.
