[Jurong West] BASC

My primary one boy is in Little Professors.
Overall, i am satisfied with the center, they have a timetable for the kids to follow, and daily assessment work. They were never late in picking up son from the bus-stop and the children looks very happy there too.
Although the center is abit run down, old, but i guess, what’s most important is the welfare of children and whether are they happy. -
anyone received warning fm BASC upon pick up child on 1st time late pick up due to heavy rain & traffic jam? is was just a 5 mins late

hi,
Just to share. I’ve enrolled my P1 girl at DStar Educentre at start of the year.
So far everything looks good and she is happy with the environment and the food they serve. The Centre Manager, a lady, is pretty friendly everytime I go to fetch my girl.
Cheers… -
Hi weien,

Hi pqy,
Yes, their fee includes free tuition.
Just to add, as both my wife and I work pretty late, I’m really glad thus far we have no worries about my girl’s homework as DStar has been doing a great job in ensuring she completes her homework on time. After homework, they will then provide free tuition for the 3 core subjects.
In fact, I was recommended by my next block neighbour whose P5 boy has been with Dstar for about a year. He told me Dstar teachers are either diploma or degree holder. For upper level kids, they even hire ex-school teacher to provide the free tuition. So, they are quite academically driven.
Honestly, so far I’ve been quite impressed with their service. Really no complaints…esp. we are busy working professionals who have very little time monitoring their studies on a daily basis … so finding a good student care centre is critical for us.
Good luck in your search for a suitable centre for your kid… -
Oh tks Weien. Will visit the center to find out more. How much for their monthly fee?

Hi pqy,
As I’m new to this forum, I’m not sure whether it’s right to share their fee here. I suggest you check with them directly. It’s definitely value for money I must say… -

Hi,
I am registering my gal to Xingnan for PI in 2014. May I know if any parents here sending your kid to a nearby student care who are \"not too bad\"? Perhaps it is hard to determine good one, but definitely not hard to condemn the bad ones...if you want do drop me a few lines at yvonnelyc@gmail.com.
Thank you.
