With school opening tomorrow, esp for my dd who has an intensive 2yr ahead of her- any suggestions for additional supplements? They already take Manuka honey to boost immunity and I will up their daily fruit intake.

An considering weekly chicken essence for dd. Will that be too heaty? Appreciate all views.

        Hi

Have anyone tried the Nutrilite Vit C and Nutrilite protein powder?
My child has been taking it for 2 mths and has never been sick since now!
Previously we left him in the childcare centre and he has been coming back with flu and cough, someone recommended me this pdt and it works!
Where to buy this Nutrilite Vit C and Nutrilite protein powder?

            Hi

anyone gives their kids supplements to regulate their bowel movement? I saw online thats there’s chewable fibre pill or chewable gentle laxative. I’m very skeptical. My almost 3 yr old always constipated this few months although he eats fair amt of fruits/veg and drinks lots of water. Could it be that i’m easing off his milk intake?

sweetbaby, like you, i'm sceptical about over-the-counter laxative. Would you try papaya or dragon fruit for DC? 😉 The latter works well for my gals although if you're taking the red dragon fruit, must warn you in advance that the bowels seem fushia sometimes...natural colour...don't fret!

I have read from another mother that butter is a natural laxative. Just give a small lump to be swallowed whole. - SK

Tried papaya and dragonfruit, little success. The butter method sounds interesting. Will try. Thx.

                    Hi

Anyone can advise what is the different between DHA and code liver oil?

I only know DHA is for the brain and what about the code liver oil.

                    thanks

SSSdarlings, giving a whole bottle of chicken essence may be very heaty (I myself find it so, and some of the people I know also say so). Perhaps you want to try out 1/3 or 1/2 bottle, mix with some water?

Nutrilite products are good (but can be more ex than commercial brands) - as in they give a clear explanation of their sources, so at least one is sure of the safety.
