Just to let u know that I went to a girls' school yesterday, admin revealed to me that there are parents who had registered in another girls' school for their daughters and yet still go to another girls' schools register. They are testing the system. Parents are embarrassed when school B detects parents register on school A already. Please do the proper procedure to withdraw if U tend to change the school of choice.

the MOE computer had already captured the child's birth certificate number inside, once the child was enrolled in school A.
School B will reject enrolling the child, unless withdraw from earlier School A first.

After withdrawn from sch A and later found infavor of sch B, can one re-register into sch A again?

I just called Canberra Primary School. Available vacancies 63. So far already has 93 SC <1km apply. Balloting will definitely be conducted. The admin lady was so helpful. Told me system shut down at 4.30pm sharp. Nobody will have access to go in. She said the latest to register is at 4.10pm, provided that you are first in the queue at 4.10pm. Suay Suay bad luck register half way, system shut down at 4.30pm, that means they can't do anything to help you also. Please take note of this very important point!!! This apply to all schools registration in Singapore, not only Canberra. Please give yourself buffer time.
[quote=\"miu miuI think may depend on individual school practice, that's why best to check with school. I suspect dun actually need but my school a either wants to make it more mafan to withdraw, in order to deter people like me, or they kiasi and die die want to do everything by the book.

How do you station each in one location if both NRICs required for withdrawal and registering? Can we use copies for withdrawal?
Original copies are needed. Photocopy is only for them to file with your document. Many parents have been adopting this strategy of one parent one sch for many years back, therefore, I think MOE is asking for original NRIC to deter this type of game.
