thats ok lah ..there are means and waysof getting billls hehehhee... but darn i still have to use phase 2C....anyways,I was wondering for fairfield Methodist ..how many vacancies would be left in Phase 2C?
Fairfield Methodist had come to a saturation point where at Phase 2C only 1 Km would conduct balloting. So in summary if you are beyond 1Km from Fairfield Methodist, it would be wise to target other primary school. -
OHH My mum place within walking dist lah…then does it mean that if within 1 km …sure can get in ??
How popular is Fairfield ?
Also, when Phase 2c is carried out,is there a timing where what time the parents must be in the school… -
even though your parents are staying within 1km, you are not allowed to register under Phase 2C within 1km, your application will fall on Phase 2C within 1-2km for registering under Grandparent’s Address.

Wow very interesting to read. Hope I’m not too late in discovering the dos and don’ts regarding Pri1 registration. Will be registering my boy next yr in 2009 to start Pri1 in 2010.
Have submitted my application to join HPPS alumni in Apr 08, to date have not heard from them even after 2 follow-up emails. Only comfort I have is that my cheque for membership fees was cleared.
Cant imagine being thrown into turmoil if my alumni membership is not processed and my son will need to go for balloting as we are outside of 1km from HPPS. -
Zack, even if you didn't join the alumni, as long as u are an ex-student of the school, u will qualify under phase2A2. Which is almost certain of getting a place in HPPS, dont worry

Well we're talking about being KS... So if can get in under 2A1 would be more assuring LOL.
Frankly I was not aware of the phases and that there's a phase 2A2, which I only found out yesterday from MOE's site... If I had known, I might not have taken the effort to goto MOE HQ and pay $10 for proof that I graduated from HPPS and might also have put my membership fees to better use eg getting more enrichment books for my son

Zack, phases 2A1 and 2A2 had been in existence for quite some time already. If you just found that out yesterday, then you are apparently not as ks as some of us here who had been monitoring the system years before our kids are due for registration!
