Hi there, I m going to register my son 3 years later, reading from the forum, making me worry too. Sign

Why worry? You still have time.

      Hi,

I had the idea that within 1Km is safe to enrol into SAPS, till I read the threads. Now knew that they do not have PV. So even 3 years down the road, still subject to balloting. So nothing I can do much huh?

If the school doesn't accept PV, you can still go by the grassroot leader route. Be active during these three years.

No not just active but must be super active on the ball grassroot leader.
Get \"Best Grassroot Leader Award\". Heard there is some ranking like BBM,PPM, SBM etc etc. Wonder have BMW where mean \"Performance Motor\". 😢

Must really 'Performance\" then sure can get letter.

Yes at Phase 2C past 3 years indicating those stay within 1Km to take part balloting. You may want to consider do PV or Grassroot if you still can meet the dateline.

Preparing Your Child for Primary Education

~ A Parent Seminar by Ministry of Education ~

Starting primary school is a big step in your child's life. To help you better understand primary school programmes and enable you to make key education decisions, the Ministry of Education will be conducting a seminar on Primary School Education. At the seminar, parents can look forward to sharing sessions by the school principal and a parent volunteer, as well as view the various programmes our primary schools provide.

Mrs Mary Ngiam, Principal, Princess Elizabeth Primary School

The Primary School years are focused on giving students a good grasp of English Language, Mother Tongue and Mathematics; as well as helping children build character and cultivate good values and habits.
Mrs Ngiam will share with parents an overview of Primary School education. Parents will also learn about the registration process and what they need to take note of when registering their child for Primary One.

Choosing a Primary School and Supporting Your Child in Primary School
Mrs Veron Sim, MOE Parent Ambassador
With the right support from parents and schools, children will be able to adapt well and build a strong foundation for the rest of their education.
