Hi good morning, thank you for the info! Thats great to have the Ez link card! But may i know how to photocopy the EZ link card?THe EZ link should be around end Jan/Begining Feb.
Once they got their EZ Link card/student card, they can start to borrow books.
However, one suggestion from my son (he is in P2 now) is to have a photocopy Ez Link card. He can used it to borrow books yet not worry that he may accidentally lost it. -
Irene Ng:
Try not to photocopy the Ez-link card as I believes the card will be corrupted because of the photo copy machines.(Causing the Ez-link card with magnetic portions to be corrupted) :frustrated:

Hi H20, any idea if the school library allows for any other means to borrow the books besides the EZ link card. Coz I am thinking that the chance of losing the EZ link is indeed pretty high. Furthermore what sc88 shared is a real possibility that it photocopying may corrupt the card.THe EZ link should be around end Jan/Begining Feb.

Anyone here has any idea which part of the ezlink is actually required for the borrowing? the photo identification? barcode? With that knowledge, maybe we can brainstorm on what other possible means they can bring along to borrow the books

I believes most of us have NLB card for our kids when we borrow books from the community library/National library. The card stated with our child names and in the records it have our child NRIC Number too. Why not using the NLB card instead. :idea:Hi H20, any idea if the school library allows for any other means to borrow the books besides the EZ link card. Try scanning it and then printing it out on your colour printer? You can laminate it too…

The laminate EZ card can be recognised by the school library? -
Yes … my child did not have any issue with her scanned copy.

Hi!
Now, my gal is Pr 3. From Pr 1, I had scanned her student pass and printed. She still can borrow books from the library and I will keep her original.
So far so good. No problem at all. -
