I know of a P5 student who has externally completed P6 Math syllabus and completed P6 Math assessment books too. My jaws dropped and it's amazing, looking at Nan Chiau standard. This is kiasu but it will help the child a lot when the child sit for final year paper in P5.

Why need to touch on P6 subjects when the child will only be tested on P5's? :slapshead:

for P5 students, certain P6 topics are taught and tested.

Has anyone received the letter which states the class your child is going for the orientation on 11 nov? It seems that the school has not sent out yet.

                      Nan Chiau have china students.

Make sure your child’s Chinese is strong, to enter top few classes.
They work very hard on English, to pull their grades up.

                        doom ! weakest in chinese..

Then will pull down total score which is e 1st criteria.
Actually I didnt prepare #1 for anything. No enrichment, no preparation class, no hypy camp, no assessment bk,n till now p4 no tuition.

Just follow e teachers' pace n b consistent, try his best, n dont bsick n careless.
I was v strict w his handwriting in lower pri bcos I want him to respect e efforts of teachers setting e assignments n spending time to mark. Hopefully, this will set a tone to his learning attitude.
Now I leave him b most of e time, w reminders on spelling n tingxie. I need him to b an independent learner so if he stumbled n lost his advantage along e way but learnt his lessons, it's fine.
