Do you ladies only consider solo time as ME time? To me it is basically doing my own things, even if the kids are around. They may be doing their work, reading, playing a game, watch tv etc, while I read, surf net or take a long shower. I don't think they want me hovering over them all the time and I am equally happy to leave them to their own devices for as long as they don't quarrel. If they need my help they have to do it at my appointed time or the day's schedule will be off.

Yes, I count time I do my own stuff, whether or not I'm at home and whether or not my kids are at home, as 'me time'. I don't need to be totally alone or outside. I don't even mind my kids or husband doing whatever it is with me as long as I made the choice!

Same here, time that I get to do my own stuff to unwind even with kids around is me time.

My me time need not be long stretches of 3-4hours. 30 mins run, that is me time, 15 mins pottering around in my garden that is, me time.

After getting some work done, the rest of the day is all his. Son will be in his room playing and I will be doing my stuff. Not so bad lah, since he is so big.

I just make sure he drinks water and rests his eyes.

            :hi5:

Probably part of adapting to life with kids is finding little pockets of time to recharge ourselves.

            :celebrate:

                    Was at Pazzion @ J8..

Every purchase of the Pink Ribbon Ballerina, Pazzion will donate 50% of the sales proceeds to Breast Cancer Foundation.
                    Ends 31 Oct..

Bot a pair. It's a nice smoky pink (not bright pink) flat pumps, with a little ribbon in front. Simple & nice. Very comfy too..

Sorry, don't know how to upload pics..

Pink flat pumps are a bit hard to match right?

I remember you mention you like Pazzion shoes. Was about to drop you a note at your 'home' thread. Thot this one suits you very well, in view of the extra weight you will be carrying in the months ahead..

It's not very pink, just a subtle light beigh-pink, so it's quite neutral and easy to match.. šŸ˜„
