DS is in P2. Form teacher said to return the report book tomorrow so that she can pass it to the new form teacher.

Any of your children taking school bus? My son has been taking single trip from Upper Bt Timah (opp Old Fire Stn) to sch & driver charges $125/mth. Last night, driver text me & said she would up the price by $10 next year! We are thinking $125 for single trip is already quite expensive & now they are upping the price. Seems like sch doesn’t control the pricing & left it to operator to set whatever price they want. Apparently, someone from the estate studying at Henry Park is charged only $100 to & fro so I’m wondering if we have been grossly overcharged.

No, they don't stream lower primary anymore, therefore no specific method of placing in P1. However, coming to mid of P1, kids will be stream for foundation and advance Chinese class. To know where your child stands, find out whether they are top 10% of whole of P1 at the end of the year based on their P1 results. These cream of kids will likely be in P3 1st class provided they maintain in P2.

--- how can I know my son is top 10% or top 20%? the report book didnt show us the ranking in the class or whole p1 students. top 10% means he should be top 3 in the class

about how kids will be assessed at P1!
