We bought all the textbooks, as DS was keen on getting all of them.. He particularly likes the one on Biology..

Your ds likes Biology? So he can start browsing thru during the hols ?

did you buy the files? or any of the stationery items?

No, DS did not buy the files & stationery. DS says a few teachers may not require them to use the files, or they may ask them to use different types of files. DS says he will buy the files when school reopens, as and when they are needed.

We went to buy books 2 weeks ago, but the bio, chem and most phy books were no stock and no price yet, are those very expensive?

Heard from friends that their sons (from other schools) had Home Econs lessons in Sec-1 & 2… But there are no Home Econs lessons in Year-1 & 2 at RI…


Do the boys need to attend HE lessons in Year-3 or Year-4 ? Or there is no need for formal HE lessons at RI, coz the boys will be ‘trained’ during their boarding term in Year-3 ?

Have you bought the things for OBS? Any idea what kind of ‘wet shoes’ for water activities are suitable? Did you bring your kids to the tetanus injection though they already had it when they were in P5? According to the packing list given, seems they need to bring a lot of closthes, is it really need that much?

Any current Y3 parents can advise and share your experiences? TIA.

DS had done health chk and already certified by doc fit to participate. The health book should indicates the immunisation jabs taken. There is no need to reinject again.

I’ve a brand new CHEMISTRY IN CONTEXT BY Graham Hill and John Holman 6th Edition used by yr3 RP students. DS bought 2 in mistakes. Any parent interested pls pm me. Willing to let go with a cheaper price.

I have several pairs of RI shorts - still new - size 26 (2 pieces), size 27 (2 pieces) and size 28 (1 pc). DS grew out of them. I am giving away, if u don’t mind used ones.
