Hi parents/students, I am interested in enrolling ds in this school & would very much like to hear your feedback on this school, anything pertaining to teachers, students, workload, CCAs, O Level results. I am also concerned with the traffic around that area. Pls help soon. Thanks!

I suspected that as the area is notorious for its traffic jams. Intend for him to take MRT to newton then walk to school?
The school facilities are really impressive. I know I can call the school to enquire but I wld like to hear comments from the ground too.
ok, just to share what I found ysty when googling about this school, for the benefit of those interested in enrolling their ds here.

So it looks like ACSBR will take in all ACSP and ACSJ kids who applied for it and whatever leftover vacancies will be opened to non-affiliated applicants.
If you refer to the chart for the ACSP/ACSJ, there are about 280+ who do not qualify for ACSI (COP 235).
Assuming there are 8 classes of 40, total 320 and there will be some ACS kids who have >235 but opt to go to ACSBR due to the much lower fee or other reasons, there is a limited vacancies left. -
Hi, may I know how I can get my ds in to ACSBR using his PSLE result? Is it through the normal selection form where we list down our 6 choices of schools? Or by submitting an appeal form to the school?

In the 2014 selection for secondary school booklet, ACS Barker has got no code. How do we even put it as one of the 6 choices? ...

Any idea how is the school culture like? Is it as 'rich' as ACS(I) and who can share any info on 'O' level results attained as well as school discipline and other info.
TIA.
