I registered DD2 for P1 in 2015! DD1 is in S1 SNGS now 🙂 Looking at the stats, feel so lucky to get in under Phase 1

looking at stats, sngs is top with the least number of vacancies left for p2A(2) - 14

              Yes, with 14 : 2A2 will ballot.
              14 very few!
Most likely 2A2 SC next Tues : balloting within 1 km distance range, from St Nicholas primary.
PRs 2A2 have to come out : make way for SC.

Those 2A2 SC greater than 1 km : no chance to even ballot.
Because 14 seats left is indeed very few !

If 2A2 ballot : means no more seat left, to carry over into (2B + 2C), ie. zero.

2B have to rely on her earlier reserved 20 seats, before Phase 1 began.

              2C -
last year : left 12 seats.
This year, only 20 left (also reserved)
These 20 seats will face intense heat, from 2C SC < 1 km, balloting

              ======================================

Once 2A2 SC < 1 km start to ballot from this year (2014) -
Next year (2015) onwards : nobody dare to remain in 2A2 anymore.
Expect to see a swarm of bees dashing forward, to join 2A1.

Next year July 2015 registration (for 2016 P1 intake) onwards -
should see a soar in the number of 2A1 applicants.

As far as CHIJ St Nicholas primary is concerned -
In the future years ahead (2015 and beyond), 2A2 ... Very likely go down in history.
High probability for 2A2, to be ... Bypassed

I’m one of the lucky moms whose dd was successfully registered through 2a(1). Very excited for my little girl. Can any moms advice which student care is available around the school?

those old gals can only join alumni, for 2010 born kids (for 2017 P1 intake)

Kids born 2009 : going to register next year July 2015 (for 2016 P1 intake) -
too late to join alumni already.

                        According to MOE website -
need to join at least 1 year as alumni, before P1 registration start.

example for this year 2A1 requirement, this year 2014

                        Phase 2A(1)

                        (a) For a child whose parent is a former student of the primary school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 June 2013.
