those old gals can only join alumni, for 2010 born kids (for 2017 P1 intake)

Kids born 2009 : going to register next year July 2015 (for 2016 P1 intake) -
too late to join alumni already.

        According to MOE website -
need to join at least 1 year as alumni, before P1 registration start.

example for this year 2A1 requirement, this year 2014

        Phase 2A(1)

        (a) For a child whose parent is a former student of the primary school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 June 2013.

Hi parents, my gal is in p1 this yr. she has been trying to find her kindergarten fren during recess breaks and eating alone if she canโ€™t find her. I have tried talking her into going for recess with her classmates instead but she chose not to. Is it common for p1 kids to eat alone? Or do they usually acquire the skills to mix ard with their classmates by now?

Hi maroz, just read your post. Children in primary 1 in Term 1 may lack the social skills and initiative to invite friends to eat with them. As I am making my post in Term 2 now, I hope it is still relevant to you.

Role-play with your child on social situations on how to invite friends to eat, the exact words to use, the tone, the body language and confidence to ask. These skills must be taught by the parents to the children and I doubt teachers have the time to teach them.

Keep encouraging your child and in no time, she will be eating with a group of friends instead of alone. I have tried it on my child and it works.

                  Hi KiasuGrandMaster
Thank you for your advice. She is better now. She will eat with her good frens in her grp. However still need to work on social skills to improve on networking.

                    Hi all!

Managed to register DD1 under 2A1 for P1 2015. *phew*
Hoping to get to know more about how it's like in SNGS now, as well as to get to know more new friends for both DD1 and myself ๐Ÿ™‚

Can I check from the helpful parents here, how many days of PE does st nicks have?
Usually how many sets of pinafore, t-shirts and shorts do you buy?
