Hi Parents of 2009 P1 Goers,

        How's first day of school?
My boy's first day is quite ok.
During the second day (today)recess, when my boy's buddy stopped halfway to talk to his friends, my boy told him \"No time to talk ah\" and pulled him to the canteen to buy food.

My girl is very happy with her new school.

I told her just before I dropped her off at school this afternoon that I'll be visiting her again at recess time (this is the last chance parents get to see their kids at recess), she said \"Har? For what??\" **fainted**

Today, her form teacher got her to help write on the board names of the misbehaving classmates while she is away. She was so happy to be tasked to do that!

                  Think kids quite independent nowadays…

I sent my girl up onto her school bus on her first day, after numerous reminders by me what to do, what not to do etc. Think the mummy more kan-cheong than the child haha… Popped over to see her during recess in the canteen, but she not interested in us at all and told us to stop taking her pictures! LOL. Then she took the school bus back herself. Overall quite a peaceful event. Didnt see any kid crying or what in the canteen either…

Dunno if my boy's school will practice 'class monitor' stuff so soon cos these 3 days the form teacher has been the one who is hands-on. My boy said yesterday the teacher gave out sweets to well-behaving students....its reward system now instead of fierce teachers like last time.
My boy said his teacher's voice so sweet.... πŸ˜‰

                        HiHi

Juz to add on...my husband has this habit too. He took a picture of my son on his first day of pr one with his uniform and bag years ago.

And he did it again on his first day of sec school this year.

Comparing the 2 pictures, we realise how much our son has grown but ...that boyish grin is still there..

How time flies! It's about time to reclaim my freedom.. :celebrate:
