schellen:
He said the filling is nice...the bun he only ate half...
jedamum: Maybe your boy likes the bun and got shortest queue? And talking about bossiness, he better not be my daughter's partner or he'll end up being bossed around for the whole year. (It's the truth! She bossed around the boys in her class at K2, K1 and N2. )
My boy's partner is another tall girl...he said she always likes to laugh loudly... -
jedamum:
So it's like licking the cream but leaving the Oreo biscuit behind?

Oh, there's another tall girl in the class? The boys had better grow up quickly. (You do know that my daughter is tall, right? And she tends to laugh a lot and loudly too. I better ask her again who her partner is cos she couldn't remember his name on the first day.) -
raysusan:
er....what do you mean by 'favorite spots'?
'favorite spots' = 'favorite places where your daughter likes to park herself'
My daughter's favorite spot is lying on the armrest of the sofa while watching TV. She gets a kick out of us fussing about how risky it is. -
oops, I think I am not kiasu enuf for this…its just that time of the month whereby I cannot take leave from work…got datelines to meet…
I just manage to squeeze half day out for the first day to pay her a visit during recess time…other than that, was exercising my mouth (mouth power) to my mum and DH to do this and that…
My mum was complaining that her uniforms are too big and we bought her another 2 sets on the next day (lucky it’s a Saturday). Now she has got 4 sets of uniforms (after my DMum made the alterations)!! She commented that I used to wear skirts so much shorter and now my DS wears like a nun!!! wahaha
Hey, but i fetched her from school bus for the 1st 3 days…not too bad lah! Have got photos of her but no photo of the anxious adults. -
This is my 2nd year going through P1. The 1st was last year so the memory is still fresh. I did something different this year as I volunteered to help out during recess time. Last year’s observation was only those who are PV has a chance to go near the kids’ table. All other parents must stand at 1 corner so as not to crowd around the kids.
Didn’t know it can be so rewarding until I was designated to help another class as there were quite a number of parents in my son’s class. My son asked me in the evening, "Mummy, why didn’t you help out at my class today?". It made me realise that wow, he actually notice that and he is very happy to see mummy helping out and he feels proud about it.
Other than that, all the kids in his class already know his name for good and bad reasons… The good is that teachers are asking him to help to clean the whiteboard as well as carry books as he is a physically big boy. The bad is he tend to speak very loudly so he has been "recognised" by the P1 manager who happens to teach him… But on top of that, since he is sitting at the back of class and easily distracted, mummy has "saboed" him by requesting his teachers to ask him to answer more questions so that he don’t dare to daydream in class. Despite the "fierce" teacher, he is still enjoying school. He just need to learn to mge that. -

Yes! Actually there are about 3-4 tall girls in class!
