My DD1 was asked to buy the school song book. According to jedamum, her DS1 got that in P1 so I think it was put under the \"Optional\" list which I ignored. Just a few days ago, my DD1 went to the sch bkshop to get the school song book but was told that there was no such thing. :? Can anyone here help clarify? I did ask DD1 to ask jedamum's DS1 for a look-see of the book but they are a pair of old grandparents, always forgetting \"unimportant\" stuff so other then me making a trip to the bkshop personally with baby in tow, I'm hoping for some confirmation here.

If the CCA day is Friday last year, will it be Friday again this year? DD1 says that the noticeboard has yet to be updated and the sch website is also not updated so I don't know who to ask. As a last resort, I can always ask her form teacher but I know how busy they are. The reason why I'd like to know is so that I can set a day with DD1's Chinese tuition teacher.

This childcare changed management last year and is now called Seeds Schoolhouse. My DD1 was at Gentle Love for her K2 year and BASC for P1. I withdrew her after that since I quit to be a SAHM to look after both her and DD2. I can't tell you much about the new management or how the centre is run now. I only know that around the time I withdrew my DD1, the previous principal and some teachers left.

then lidat i sure kena have to make new one for dd2 when she's slightly older. cos dd1 and dd2 born with very very little hair (more like fuzz) so up till 3-4yo, dd1 still looked like a boy. (both look like ah pek when baby. :lol: )

that boy called \"christian\" was obviously not chinese. I think mebbe eurasian. i doubt the indian boy will run out of names since hinduism has so many many gods to name his kids after.

hmm...i never noticed the residue or mebbe cos my DH's only piece of mahjong paper (kept as backdrop for his model kits during photo shoots) has been re-used many many times already.

as for baby pics package, we only did tt for dd1. can't be bothered for dd2. anyway, dd2 looks very different from her newborn pics now.

buds, i serious one leh. the amt of drool this one has...i step into a puddle of it everyday w/o fail when i carry her around my home. anyway, i think since my case isn't urgent, i better wait till she can sit properly on her own first. now, whenever i put her down, she will immediately roll over and over and over and....you get the pt. :roll:

dd2 only has one new toy, and new clothes for celebrations. but she gets 100% mommy's milk that is for her and her only.

This happened many years ago and it was a conversation I had with someone else's kid. This kid was already a teenager and an Indian. We were in a shared classroom and this young man was looking at the name lists on the notice board. Suddenly, he looked very surprised.


Young Man (YM): Is \"Christian\" a name?
Me: Yes, some people do name their children \"Christian\".

I went to HN at West Mall to check out their Rowenta. The 2 on display look and feel really plasticky. I also did not see many Rowenta on display at the Mega Discount Store. Anywhere else has a lot of Rowenta on sale?
