If you intend to register under Phase 2C in Princess Elizabeth and are staying >1km from the school, you can forget it. balloting is required for those residing within 1km from the school in phase 2C.Not sure where you stay exactly, but the better schools in the area include:

if you are staying near Jurong East, I think http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/school/fuhua-primary-school is quite a good one.

Fuhua has indeed a very good ICT enrichment programme, and has done well in Math Olympiads, but we have not been able to assess its historical PSLE performance. Anyone has got this information?

Just found this information, 2005 PSLE 100% pass rate. No info on the other years. -

Wow! 100%?! That's tier-1 performance.

All my nieces and nephews are at Fuhua Primary.. and none of them get a good results in their exams. So thats worry me

-
Results are ultimately dependent on the mettle of students. Have you taken a look at their exam papers to determine if the questions are really hard or is it just the kids making silly mistakes? That would be a better guage. Could it be that Fuhua’s tests are harder than the national average?
-
I have not taken a look at the exam paper… but Im not so sure what is a National Average… as I dont have anyone I know from different primary schools…
-
I do know that last year’s Fuhua’s SA2 exam papers were much difficult than previous years. That was because, the school was merging with Pandan Primary School, so somehow the papers set were of higher standard so that both schools can guage the 2 groups of students and place them in the appropriate class.
According to friends who stay around Jurong East, this should be the best one among the rest.
For me, I always ask what’s the average for the class and the school and what’s the highest score, so that I know where my children stand. The absolute mark is not so important.
