2. Any tips to assess the agency/agent helping us whether they are truely helping or just want to close the deal?

Good luck to your maid hunt… hmm most agencies will be more keen , in pushing their girls. you can speak to the staff and see who actually seems very patient in explaining to you things.

You can also go to MOM website to check on the agency transfer rate. See if the agency does assist to choose wisely

Some agencies will just put biodatas in front of you and ask you to choose, some will say no interview, this are agencies that are not worth it… and one more thing before you sign anything make sure the agency explains to you all their clauses .

I have been getting my previous and current helpers from Nation.

So far so good as I got a good and responsible agent name Yann.
She is station in Jurong East Branch.
I always introduce her to my relatives, friends & colleagues when they need to get a helper.
