May I check with parents of pri 2 what to bring on first day of school.
My son lost the list given during last week of school and the mconline website is currently down for maintainence for the next couple of days.
Please help and many thanks in advance.

All pupils need to bring the following:
Story Book
2015 Pupil Dairy
Palm View Subject files - Orange (2)

Pupils who taking Chinese:
HCPS Textbook 2A & Activity Book 2A
Character & Citizebship Education Textbook 2
Palm View A5 Big Square Exercise Books (2)
Palm View Subject file - Green (1)

Pupils who taking Malay:
MLPS Workbook 2A
Character & Citizebship Education Activity Book 1
Mekar Small Reader 2A (4 books)
A5 Broad Lined (2)
Single Lined Jotter Book (1)
Palm View Subject file - Green (1)

So \"seasoned\" parents from p2 & p3 ... any insights about what parents get to do on first day? Are we allowed to \"hang around\"? Do we get to teach the noobs how to buy food?

Feeling like it's our first day instead! :faint:

PS: Suppose they'll be emailing us all our unique logins & PWs for Snaap? How are the reviews for the app in iTunes? V bad for Playstore.

there is new uniform with pockets?? :?[/quote]P3 onwards have a more formal uniform. It's like the proper uniform kind.. with pocket all. For the P1s and P2s they will still wear the ever-so-cool sporty dry-fit material uniform.

Not necc. Coz during orientation the new teachers have not come in yet.
So it could well be a different teacher.
Don't worry. In addition to MOE's \"Every School is a Good School\" tagline.. I personally feel that in Palm View \"Every Teacher is a Good Teacher\".

Not sure about the other seasoned parents.. but my advise is as follows :

1) Take leave on the first day of school.
2) Send your child to school and attend the talk/briefing.
3) Go for a nice brunch with your spouse.
4) If your child is in student care.. even better. Go catch a movie or something with your spouse. It's a rare chance for you to go on a date with your spouse to start of the new year!!!!!..

hahahahahha.. don't worry about your kids. They will know what to do.. really.. no matter how blur u may think they are.. they will do well on the first day. Teachers will be around.. the older buddies will be around (don't forget the P3 kids started off 2 years ago not having any buddies and they survived!).
