      Puffer:
Correction: First 4 in class position does not warrant a place in A class. The School looks at the overall result in whole P3 level. A child may be 3rd in his class but 42nd in standard. Conversely, another child is 15th in his class but <40th in whole standard, he gets into 'A' class. This year onwards, the classes are not named from 'A' to 'G', but I believe the system remains unchanged.

Anyone going to attend the 2.30 talk on Friday, and 5.30 talk by P on subject banding for P4s?
Yeah..correction noted..puffer..I forgot to mention that my dd year in Pr 2 the classmates were really motivated lot ..and smart(they unblinkingly consistently attain for all three subjects 95 and above..and believe me the rvps questions are 'challenging' )so when the teacher gave them that \"1st 4 positions\" goal, she probably could anticipate based on their results (after CA2)

For my dd's class, she wasn't too far off the mark..my dd came in 7th (in class)and was placed 47th in level positioning..she's in 4 Graciousness( aka 'B' class 😄 )

Yap..I'll be there for that talk at 2.30 and 6.00pm(is it 5.30 or 6?)I thought the talk at 2.30 pm ends at 5.30pm(the one by Alan Yip from Mind Edge, right?)

I kinda looking forward to that talk because I would like to be informed of the recent learning strategies. It's going to be a LO>>NG afternoon 😐 ..hope to learn something from it!'See' all Pr 4 KS parents there 😎

Yeap the workshop is from 2.30-5.30pm, followed by the Subject Banding talk from 6. Did you receive sms from PSG people? Lunch will commence at 1.30pm straight after school. Heard there are over 100 parents (so 200 with kids) signed up! So the speaker Alan Yip is from the famous 'MindEdge'.

Hi to all Pri 1 parents, cant help notice that the pace is picking up, the weekly chinese and english spelling… numerous maths topical tests… gearing up for the SA1 in May… hope everyone is staying sane with the amount of homework piling up. Good luck to all of us parents too!

Hang in there, Zioner. There's still at least another 16 years of education to go 🙂

My K2 DD also has weekly Chinese & Eng spelling. I guess the kindergarten teachers are already preparing them for P1
