Math is something u must get help early. if u delay and delay, sometimes time is wasted and u need to spend more time to practise what u have not been able to learn properly. I see it in my DS before and i regret not getting him help earlier. But i VERY HENG !!! At least he is doing well now under his tutor’s guidance.

Yes, maths is all abt practice n more practice until the child can understand the concepts completely. My girl failed her p4 maths exam tlast year. This year started looking for a tutor for her. i found a contact in this forum after reading gd review n after 3 months, she managed to pass her maths SA1. The tutor really drilled her on fractions word problems n model drawing. She finally could solve the challenging fraction word problems in paper 2. Getting a good tutor is very important too.

She is Ms Angela, an ex MOE teacher. So she knows the sch syllabus very well and uses her own curriculum to teach the students. Prefer this than those using assessment books or practice paper. Her contact number is 98802820.

Any good tuition centre for maths in Tampines? My girl has problem with challenging maths qns. 😞

THere's a Sakamoto Branch in acuteen academy in Tampines St82

Hi Leodotnet, is your kid still in Sakamoto? Saw from other old post it says their method is different from our school method (model drawing). Is it easier to learn? Can share your experience on this different method? Thank you 😄
